Right Up Our Alley

Vancouver is full of many, many things. It still baffles me sometimes (because of all the gaggle that surrounds NEW YORK and EUROPE) how cultural and artistic, and sadly forgotten, Vancouver can be. I've been living here for many years and I always find something new to surprise me.

Surprise = The Worship Museum.

The Worship Museum is an online catalogue of unique little trinkets and gifts based out of Vancouver. All of their  products are designed by many different individuals/artists that show off some really great work. If you're looking for something unique and interesting to give to a loved one, friend, or favourite plant, check them out here.

Cool Finds:

"Extra Terrariums: Handmade cross terrarium. made to order. terrarium comes with rocks, activated charcoal, dirt and quartz crystals that you can arrange in the moss. You find your own moss! instructions will be included, its easy."

Every Body / No Body newspaper: 2 colour, 6 page, hand silkscreened newspaper , edition of 50.
Inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s theories, this project disseminates how systems thinking can reveal the interconnections between individuals and society, society and nature and nature and our existence. All content is taken from past and present designers and artists that engage this concept in their life and work.
Grandiouse Lab: Skull, Teeth, and Gun Soap and Coffin. Wooden
hinged coffin with handmade all natural goats milk base
soap with subtle grapefruit scent.

Lightweight, handmade paper case - designed to be an outdoor drawing board or portfolio. Made from high quality marine plywood and clear fir with Southco marine draw latches. Finished with handmade shellac

Fantastic, eh?
