Your New Favourite Blog >> Color Collective

Some things are just so simple it’s genius.

My mum discovered Color Collective after the blog was featured in the March 2011 issue of Lucky Magazine. Completely dedicated to colour palettes,  blog creator Lauren Willhite takes images of fashion, art and photography and pulls 5 colours from each work to form delightfully inspirational combinations.

It’s one of those sites that hours can be spent perusing alluring categories like Fabric + Paper, Jewel Tones, Earth Tones, and Art + Design.

One thing I love about this blog is that anyone who knows a little bit about Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator would be able to replicate her concept. It’s such a great way to find colour inspiration – I’ll probably waste a few hours tomorrow going through my image archives and coming up with my own series.

But what Willhite offers that makes her extra special is her eclectic selection of images from a wide variety of disciplines – it’s one of those resources that will open your eyes to a thousand things you didn’t know about yet. Scroll for a sneak peak >>
