How To Make a Christmas Sweater in 10 Easy Steps

What is it, four days ‘till Christmas? Brill! What better way to get in the holiday spirit than to destroy a perfectly good sweater so you can only wear it once a year. Here’s how it’s done, folks >>

Step 1. Choose an appropriate playlist

Step 2. Find a sweater that you don’t really wear anyway

Step 3. Scrounge up any fabric scraps, old clothes or scarves that could pass for festive

Step 4. Mark and cut out all of the pieces you’ll need for the decoration

Step 5. Don’t forget, it’s not a Christmas Sweater without a cliché slogan

Step 6. Use markers to add details. Jolly!

Step 7. Sew the smaller pieces together first, before attaching anything to the sweater (if you don’t have a sewing machine, use needle and thread, staples, or saliva)

Step 8. Pin the pieces on the sweater (putting something thick like a magazine inside the sweater makes it easy)

Step 9. Sew that shit!
