A few months ago I scanned almost every page of about eight or nine vogue pattern catalogues that I borrowed from my boyfriend’s mum. Ranging from the late 1970’s to early 1980’s, the editorials in these catalogues were made to inspire women of the time to get out their sewing machines create the looks for themselves.
